Caption: ST MARYS ASILE KIRKCUDBRIGHT 1441 J.V.
The back of the picture is inscribed: "Mrs. Armstrong's home in Scotland. Mother of Mrs. Catherine Bruce. (Ada Bruce's grandmother)" Mrs. Armstrong would be Mary Mckeachie who married George Armstrong.
